Terms & Refund Policy
The Rules, In Plain English.
Last updated: 21 August 2026. Being straight with you: this is a minimal policy written to close a real gap before we ask anyone else to sign up — not yet reviewed by a solicitor. We won't overstate it as bulletproof; if that changes, we'll update this page and say so.
These terms cover using this website (ecoeconomy.org) and applying for Inte.Team membership through it. EcoEconomy ("EE") is an early-stage community initiative built and operated by Inte.Team — EE is not yet its own separate registered legal entity, so Inte.Team is the other party to any agreement you make here.

Using this website
Use this site for its intended purpose — learning about EcoEconomy and applying for membership. Don't try to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or use it for anything unlawful. Everything on this site is concept-stage unless a page states otherwise; where we're not certain of something (legal positioning, hardware timelines), we say so directly rather than presenting it as settled fact — see the FAQ and technical page for exactly what that applies to.
Membership (£10/month)
The "Become a Member" form on this site is an application for Inte.Team's existing £10/month membership — the same membership described on inte.team/membership.html. Submitting it doesn't take payment directly; once we've processed your application, Inte.Team sets up your £10/month billing using a payment method agreed between you and us.
There's no lock-in contract. You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting us — support@inte.team or 01506 532 247 — which stops future billing.
Refund policy
Your first 14 days: UK law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) gives you a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you sign up, during which you can cancel for any reason and get a full refund of anything you've paid. If you ask us to start your membership benefits (your OorHQ account, e-wallet stake) before those 14 days are up, you're agreeing that once we've provided them in full, you lose the right to a refund for that period — we'll always tell you this clearly before starting anything early, not bury it here.
After that: membership continues month to month. Cancelling stops future billing, but we don't refund a month that's already begun — unless we've made a mistake or failed to provide what we promised, in which case email us and we'll sort it out directly.
ECO Credits
This page covers the website and membership. ECO Credit mechanics — the redemption fee tiers, demurrage schedule, and what happens if EE closes — are covered on the technical page and in the FAQ, since those numbers may still be adjusted before EE's closed-loop launch (Stage 3 on the roadmap) and we want one place stating them, not two that could drift apart. As stated there: ECO balances aren't covered by the FSCS the way a bank account is.
No guarantees while we're early-stage
EcoEconomy is an early-stage initiative, not a finished product — the roadmap shows what's live now versus planned. We work hard to keep this site and our commitments to you accurate, but to the extent the law allows, we can't guarantee the site or membership will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our liability to you is limited to what you've actually paid us — except where the law doesn't allow that limit, such as for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update this policy as EE develops — for example, once it becomes its own registered legal entity, or once a solicitor has reviewed it. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute will be handled in the Scottish courts.
Questions or complaints
Email support@inte.team — we'd rather resolve something directly than have you second-guess whether you're covered.
